Classic Indian Motorcycle Restoration
The mystique of the Indian motorcycle brand was established early in the twentieth century. Motorcycle collectors and enthusiasts have cherished these icons of American ingenuity and craftsmanship for generations.
Ron Link caught the fever back in early 1969 while working in a motorcycle machine shop in rural Missouri. A graduate of South County Tech in St. Louis, Ron was invited to work with Jerry Greer Indian Engineering where he was part of the team that restored the 1940 Indian Scout Custom that is presently in the Guggenheim “Art of the Motorcycle” display.
Ron was also a member of the research team that assembled the “Jerry Greer Indian Engineering Parts Manual”… one of the most comprehensive guides to Indian restoration available.
Ron’s restorations have won over a dozen Best of Show and First Place trophies in competitions all over the Country. Ron has the distinction of winning the “Judges Choice Best of Show” at the June of 2000 custom Harley Davidson show in Irvine California… beating all the Harleys on their own turf!
Ron’s expertise is now available to the general public through this website, email, and phone support.
